Marcus Rashford reportedly skipped Manchester United training after being spotted at a Belfast nightclub dancing with local girls.

Marcus Rashford was reportedly absent from Manchester United training following a night out in Belfast. Reports indicate that Rashford was spotted at a nightclub in Belfast, Northern Ireland, on consecutive nights, Wednesday and Thursday. The Athletic revealed that Rashford had been in Belfast during those nights before missing training with his club on Friday.

Allegedly, Rashford visited a nightclub shortly before a scheduled club training session. Accounts suggest he visited Lavery’s Bar on Wednesday night and Thompsons Garage nightclub on Thursday night before flying back to Manchester via a private jet the next morning. United manager Erik ten Hag addressed Rashford’s absence, citing illness: “This morning, Rashford was ill, and (Jonny) Evans was ill, so we have to see how they recover.”

This isn’t the first time Rashford’s nightlife activities have made headlines. In November 2023, he was seen at a nightclub after United’s defeat by Manchester City. Ten Hag condemned the behavior, stating, “I spoke with him about it. It’s unacceptable. He apologized, and that is it. For us, it’s an internal matter. He’s very motivated to put things right.” Despite the setback, Ten Hag reaffirmed Rashford’s commitment to the team.

Rashford enjoyed a stellar season last year, but his performance has declined this season, with only four goals in 26 appearances. As United prepares to face Newport County in the FA Cup fourth round, Rashford’s form remains a concern for the team.
