There are rumblings that the midfielder is reconsidering his future at Barcelona. Previously, the club intended to extend his contract until June 2029, but this is now deemed “impossible.”
It’s projected that over the next three seasons, the midfielder will earn over twenty million euros. With Barcelona needing to alleviate their financial burdens through significant sales, they are open to selling him when the opportunity arises.
