“We are planning to sign most of our players from Bayern because they have the type of quality players we want”-Man Utd interested in two Bayern Munich players to kick-start Sir Jim Ratcliffe revolution as his plan to improve Manchester United revealed

Reports suggest that Manchester United is currently in talks regarding potential loan agreements for two players from Bayern Munich in the January transfer window. With Erik ten Hag’s side languishing in eighth place in the Premier League and no signings made this month, there’s a flurry of activity surrounding loan departures, including Donny van De Beek, Jadon Sancho, and Hannibal Mejbri.

The recent announcement of Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s investment signals a new era for the club, aiming to rejuvenate Manchester United’s global stature after a decade of mismanagement under the Glazer family. Despite a disappointing season on the pitch, exacerbated by underwhelming performances from summer acquisitions and key injuries, Sir Jim Ratcliffe is committed to reshaping the team’s dynamics.

As per The Athletic, Sir Jim Ratcliffe is not prepared to concede the current season for Manchester United, despite the team’s challenges. He is determined to assist United in securing qualification for next season’s Champions League, a crucial step in adhering to Financial Fair Play regulations. The constrained financial resources explain the lack of new arrivals at Old Trafford, with internal discussions focusing on loan moves for Bayern Munich’s Matthijs De Ligt and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting.

De Ligt has seen a decrease in playing time under Bayern manager Thomas Tuchel, starting only five Bundesliga matches. Tuchel has favored the defensive partnership of Dayot Upamecano and Kim-Min jae, with the recent acquisition of Eric Dier from Tottenham Hotspur potentially limiting De Ligt’s opportunities. Notably, the Dutch international previously worked with Erik ten Hag at Ajax, reaching the Europa League final together in 2017.

Choupo-Moting currently serves as the third-choice striker at the Allianz Arena, playing understudy to Harry Kane and Mathys Tel. With his contract expiring in the summer, Bayern Munich will not stand in his way if he chooses to depart.

Manchester United has struggled to find the net this season, with Scott McTominay leading the team with five Premier League goals. Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho have each scored three goals, while Rasmus Hojlund has found the net twice in his last two appearances. Anthony Martial has contributed one goal, and Antony is yet to open his account. United is set to resume action against Newport County in the FA Cup fourth round on Sunday.
