‘Pochettino doesn’t know how to coach a big club, otherwise why would you keep a player like Him on the bench when you want to win games against Wolves?’ Alan Shearer, refers to Pochettino as a ‘BABY COACH’ for benching the £80 million star in Chelsea’s Defeat yesterday.

Thiago Silva’s wife has seemingly called for the dismissal of Mauricio Pochettino following Chelsea’s 4–2 defeat to Wolves.

The Blues aimed to recover from their recent 4-1 loss at Anfield and initially showed promise at Stamford Bridge with Cole Palmer netting the opening goal. However, their lead was short-lived as Matheus Cunha equalized moments later, followed by an own goal from Axel Disasi just before halftime, granting the visitors a narrow lead.

At halftime, Chelsea’s players faced boos while descending the stairs, and matters worsened in the second half with Cunha securing a hat-trick. Despite a late goal from Thiago Silva, the majority of fans had already departed, leaving behind a tumultuous atmosphere.

Discontent extended beyond the supporters, as Thiago Silva’s wife, Belle, expressed her dissatisfaction with Pochettino and the team on social media just before the final whistle. Her post, “It’s time to change. It will be too late if you wait any longer,” was widely interpreted as a call for managerial change, with one notable fan, Frank Khalid, humorously suggesting she manage Chelsea instead.

While many echoed her sentiments, some questioned the appropriateness of a current player’s spouse publicly criticizing the manager. This isn’t the first time Belle Silva has voiced her grievances online, having previously criticized Chelsea and former managers, notably Graham Potter.

Following the defeat, Chelsea finds themselves in 11th place in the Premier League, trailing fourth-placed Aston Villa by 15 points. The club’s significant investments over the past 18 months were made with hopes of securing a top-four finish or European qualification, aspirations that appear increasingly distant at present.
