However, the advantage was short-lived, as Matheus Cunha equalized minutes later, and an own goal from Axel Disasi just before halftime gave Wolves a slender lead.
The situation worsened after halftime, with Cunha securing a hat-trick in the Premier League. Although Thiago Silva managed to score from a corner late in the game, many fans had already left, expressing their frustration with boos.
